Who I am

I’m Manish Sood — a neighbor, a local farmer, and someone who chose Loxahatchee Groves for the same reasons many of you did: rural lifestyle, blessed green spaces, proud equestrian and farm businesses and a community where people still look out for each other.

What I bring

I have 20+ years of entrepreneurship and executive leadership experience in business and finance, building efficient operations, managing budgets responsibly, and delivering measurable results. I believe local government should run with the same discipline as any well-managed organization: clear priorities, transparency, and accountability.

As our town's Chair of FAAC (Financial Advisory & Audit Committee), I’ve produced detailed, data-driven analyses that forced real transparency at Town Hall—spotlighting the Town’s cashflows, fund-flow statements, and budget assumptions so residents could see what was actually happening with their tax dollars. That work helped drive clearer budget reporting and process changes, shifting the conversation from vague talking points to numbers, line items, and measurable outcomes. With a Master’s in Engineering, I bring an analytical, no-nonsense approach: follow the money, challenge assumptions, and demand accountability. Like a hawk, I will watch every dollar of your tax money. My campaign is self-funded — which means I answer to one group only: you, the residents of Loxahatchee Groves!
